Top Sports Apps on iOS in UAE: Q1 2025 Performance Insights

In the first quarter of 2025, several sports apps on iOS in the United Arab Emirates showed notable performance trends. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights key metrics such as downloads and revenue for the top five apps.

PTV Live Cricket from MD EMAM HOSSAIN experienced significant fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting the quarter with approximately 313 downloads, the numbers surged to over 15.7K by mid-February, before declining to around 298 by the end of March. The app saw a peak in revenue in mid-February at about $290, gradually tapering off to $58 by the quarter's end.

Live Cricket TV HD Sports, developed by Vivek Sangani, showed a steady increase in downloads throughout the quarter. Beginning with just 10 downloads, it climbed to over 7.8K in mid-February, ending March with 436 downloads. The app did not generate revenue during this period.

For PTV Live Sports Cricket TV by Cric Vision, downloads started at 172, peaking at 8.6K in mid-February before settling at 209 by the end of March. Like several others, this app did not report any revenue.

Cricbuzz Live Cricket Scores by Cricbuzz.com maintained a robust performance in terms of revenue, peaking at $2.5K in mid-February. Downloads showed a notable increase from 554 at the start of the quarter to over 5K by the end of March. Active users also rose from approximately 24.8K to 31.8K, indicating strong user engagement.

Lastly, Live Cricket TV from Payalkumari Lakhani recorded a steady rise in downloads, starting at 173 and reaching a high of 5.3K in mid-February. By the end of March, downloads were at 459, with no revenue generated during the quarter.
